Flavors of Our Community unites corporate, nonprofit and individual efforts to promote food justice and access in our region. Our partners lend their expertise, time, and philanthropic efforts. Businesses of all sizes have chosen to strengthen their philanthropic efforts, build a culture of volunteerism and engage their workforces for food justice in our region through Flavors of Our Community.
We advance our vision of a thriving Greater Twin Cities where all people have food that meets their needs and reflects their tastes by working alongside and investing in key organizations making an impact in our region. We’re partnering with twelve nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities to tailor and distribute pantry and spice packs representing six different cultures.
Based in Burnsville, MN, 360 Communities delivers safety and stability that improves lives. With effective and holistic programming, they leverage community partnerships, build trusting relationships, break cycles of violence and produce measurable success. Their food shelves are based in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount, and we partner with them by providing a variety of cultural pantry and spice packs.

CAPI USA was founded as The Centre for Asian and Pacific Islanders in 1982. Their mission is to guide refugees and immigrants in their journey toward self-determination and social equality. Their food shelf is based in Brooklyn Center, and we partner with them by providing Southeast Asian Staples and Sauces packs.
CLUES is Minnesota’s largest Latino-led nonprofit organization, founded in 1981 by and for Latinos. Their work is to ensure the advancement of social and economic equity and wellbeing for Latinos in Minnesota. Their food shelves are based in Austin, Minneapolis and St. Paul, and we partner with them by providing Latine Staples and Spices packs.

Division of Indian Work’s mission is to support and strengthen urban American Indian people through culturally based education, traditional healing approaches, and leadership development. Their food shelf is based in Minneapolis, and we partner with them by providing Indigenous Staples and Spices packs.
Department of Indian Work partners with American Indian families to revitalize culture, education and wellness. Their food shelf is based in Little Canada, and we partner with them by providing Indigenous Staples and Spices packs.

Isuroon Hallal Food Assistance was founded to support the East African community in Minneapolis but has expanded its food shelf significantly and become a crucial support system for families of various ethnic backgrounds. Their food shelf is based in Minneapolis, and we partner with them by providing East African Staples and Spices packs, and Afghan Staples and Spices packs.

The Karen Organization of Minnesota was founded by Karen ((kuh-ren) refugees from Burma (Myanmar) and offers a variety of programs to help refuges transition to life in their new country and resources to help organizations learn how to work with the Karen community. Their office is based in Roseville, and we partner with them by providing Karen Staples and Spices packs.

Keystone Community Services provides community-based services aimed at strengthening our community, with a commitment to serving people with the greatest needs. They are based in St. Paul, and we partner with them by providing a variety of cultural pantry and spice packs.
Muslim American Society of Minnesota is a religious and community organization operating seven Masjids (Islamic Centers) with a commitment to making Minnesota a better place for all Minnesotans. Their food shelves are based in Blaine, Rosemount and St. Paul. We partner with them by providing Afghan Staples and Spices packs.

Merrick Community Services is one of the oldest nonprofit agencies in Ramsey County, with a history of assisting individuals and families transition from poverty and become self-sufficient and stable. Their food shelf is based in St. Paul, and we partner with them by providing a variety of cultural pantry and spice packs.
Neighborhood House is a welcoming presence for thousands of refugees, immigrants and others in transition or crisis. Their two food shelves are based in St. Paul, and we partner with them by providing a variety of cultural pantry and spice packs.

NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center is a health care and human services agency in North Minneapolis, administered by a community board of directors and Hennepin County. Their food shelf is based in North Minneapolis, and we partner with them by providing a variety of cultural pantry and spice packs.
