We know that stable housing is the key to success in school, work, health, family and community life. Without a place to live and belong, everything else in life becomes more complicated.
Home For Good provides our neighbors with welcome home bins filled with towels, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, hygiene necessities, blankets and more. Grab your friends and family, head to the store and purchase supplies for home essentials packs, individual items or fleece tie blankets.
A member of our Volunteer United team will reach out to coordinate a drop-off at United Way.
The following groups of household supplies will be added into each welcome home bin and provided to a family or individual transitioning from homelessness into housing.

You’ll need: 2 pieces of fleece (each piece of fabric should be 2 yards or 72” x 60”, for a total of 4 yards), scissors, a ruler and cardboard, paper or a grocery bag (to create your template).

If purchasing fleece on Amazon, search “fleece blanket kit.” They offer bundles that contain two pieces of fabric. If purchasing fleece from Joann Fabrics, search “fleece.” Choose two different pieces of fleece, each in a 2-yard cut.
